On 29 March, Wilson put up the second LFL.  The owner of Planet Curls promised to be a good custodian for it.

On Tuesday 17 February, Will put up the first of two Little Free Libraries.  His Eagle Project is to plan, source, construct, paint, and install two of these to promote literacy.  This one is installed at the chartering organization for Troop 567, the American Legion Post 164 on Kingsland.  It is next to a KinderCare, the target of the free books.

He was concerned that displaying the Golden Arches would violate a trademark, so he flipped it and made the logo on the fries WcDonald's.

We have new kittens named Dexter and Daphne, we adopted them about a year ago.  Dexter is able to open lever doors such that we have had to change some doorknobs to round ones.  We finally caught him in the act!

Yesterday, Wilson went to Katy High School's Senior Sunrise 2026 where seniors meet for donuts at sunrise on the football field.  At the end of the school year, they meet for the sunset.  A neat tradition!  This school year, Wilson will be in the Culinary Arts program at the technical campus of our school district for the mornings and regular classes in the afternoons.

Last night, Troop 567 elected Will to be their Senior Patrol Leader for the next 6 months.  The SPL is the top youth leader of the unit.

This year, Wilson wanted a fox cake for his birthday.  Amy spent the day making one:

Wilson continues at Texas Connections Academy of Houston again this year for 9th grade like 8th grade last year.  He is glad for the flexibility to work at his own pace and turn around to pet Colt whenever he feels like it!

Wilson has been drawing anthropomorphic animals recently.  Every artist at some point draws a self portrait.  He combined the two to do this one.
